Prototype for Mini Jam 196: Snake

Play cards to move your snake to collect power ups and level up. Drag cards near center of screen to play them.

  • Start with 5 starter cards and 1 choice of a random shop card.
  • Card effects are resolved top down as they appear on the card.
  • Shop Cards are procedurally generated.
  • Cards come in 5 rarities, with each rarity dictating how many effects a card can *potentially* have.
    • Common - 1 (Always)
    • Uncommon - 2
    • Rare - 3
    • Epic - 4
    • Legendary - 5 (Always)
  • There are 6 different effects with different probabilities.
    •  Probabilities:
      • Trigger Turrets - 17%
      • Turret - 15%
      • Draw - 17%
      • Segment - 16%
      • Energy - 16%
      • Move - 19%
  • And cards can come in either normal or foil. No additional effects they are there to just look cool.

Tips: 

  • Energy cards increase max energy per turn, they can be worthwhile getting.
  • More segments means more xp but this could work against you.
  • Sometimes rarity does really mean much :P
